Ms. Jennifer Hu is specialized in both litigation and non-litigation matters of intellectual property. Her practice areas include civil litigation for infringement of trademark, copyright and unfair competition disputes, administrative litigation for trademark authorization disputes, litigation and arbitration for disputes over licensing contracts, strategy planning and negotiation for brand licensing and transfer cooperations, domain name arbitration, design of comprehensive protection portfolio for intellectual property rights protection, and data and information compliance consulting.
Jennifer works representing a bunch of reputed clients in the industries of winery, liquors, garments, jewelry, food and beverage, chemical industry, telecommunication, household electrical appliances, etc., which mostly are Fortune 500 companies.
Graduating from University College London (UCL) with bachelor degree in science, from Renmin University of China with master degree in Law, Jennifer obtained a further master degree in management from University of York, and she has a creative mindset to solve problems for the best interest of the stakeholders, internationally and domestically, with her advanced legal knowledge and experience.
Jennifer was admitted at the Bar Association, and she speaks fluent English and Mandarin.

Representative Cases:
- Representing Treasury Wine Estates in several trademark infringement civil litigations with respect of Penfolds brand;
- Representing Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux in several administrative complaint cases and civil litigation cases for protection of its GI mark “BORDEAUX”, “MARGAUX”, etc;
- Acting on behalf of Sanrio Group in arbitration cases concerning disputes over the license agreements of “HELLO KITTY”/”Cinnamon”;
- Providing IP protection advices for Ferrero Group for Kinder Joy, Ferrero Rocher, KJELDSENS brands, and representing them in several civil litigations and administrative cases;
- Representing GENTLE MONSTER, a well-known fashion brand, in trademark infringement and unfair competition civil litigations, and assisting it in recognizing the popularity of “GENTLE MONSTER” and its corresponding acronym, GM, in administrative proceedings;
- Representing Solvay Group in cases of trademark infringement and unfair competition in relation to chemical brands such as “Cytec”, “AERO” as well as various trademark authorization administrative proceedings;
- Representing CommScope Group in anti-counterfeiting actions/domain name arbitrations/investigations etc; and
- Representing RB Group to participate in commercial negotiation of the transaction structure for the acquisition of the “Bright Dish” trademark and finally successfully completed the transfer of the “Bright Dish” series of trademarks.
